Why use credits instead of a direct swap?
A direct swap depends on the same two owners needing help and being available at compatible times. Community credits support a wider exchange: you may help one participating owner and later arrange care with another.
How do you earn TreatCoins?
Eligible participation can earn TreatCoins according to the current app rules. OkTreat’s published model connects helping with pet care to earning credits. Check the earning conditions shown for the activity before agreeing to it.
How do you use TreatCoins?
TreatCoins can be used for supported care within OkTreat. Check the current credit requirements and arrange care with a suitable participating member. A credit balance alone does not guarantee an available sitter or a confirmed booking.
An example without an invented exchange rate
You contribute eligible pet-care help and receive the credits provided by the current rules. When you need care, you check the requirements for an available arrangement. The amount earned and the amount needed depend on the actual supported activity; this guide does not assign a universal hourly rate.
Are TreatCoins money or an investment?
TreatCoins should not be treated as a promise of cash value, financial return or guaranteed financial value. Check current rules rather than assuming cash withdrawal, transfers, expiry or purchase options that have not been confirmed.
Are TreatCoins the same as ALOHA?
No. TreatCoins are described as part of OkTreat’s pet-care community system. AlohaPay’s ALOHA is a separate digital utility project. Do not assume TreatCoins can be exchanged for ALOHA, or that holding ALOHA is required for every pet-care arrangement.
What should I check before confirming care?
- The current credit amount and earning or use conditions.
- Whether the arrangement is available and the sitter is suitable.
- Cancellation terms and the responsibilities of each participant.
- The pet’s routine, emergency contacts and agreed care plan.
